Effective Results in Non-Surgical Skin Rejuvenation with Dermatherapy
Dermapen, which is a new generation method in non-surgical facial rejuvenation applications, is a micro-needling application that provides regeneration without damaging the top layer of the skin. Dermatherapy is also known in the world as Dermaroller, Mezoroller, Microneedling. Facial rejuvenation application with Dermapen helps your skin to have a young, bright and tense appearance without the need for surgical intervention.
What is Dermapen, How is it Applied?
The basic working principle of Dermapen management is to create thousands of invisible micro channels on your skin. Thanks to the opened micro channels, the body’s reparative mechanisms are triggered. Thanks to Dermatherapy, which is perceived as a wound by the skin, problem skin areas are restructured. Therefore, the skin is supported to gain a fresher and younger structure. Before the Dermapen or Microneedling application, the make-up residues on the skin are thoroughly cleaned and the skin is thoroughly disinfected. Pure hyaluronic acid is applied to the area where Dermapen will be applied. Thanks to the micro needles (0.02 mm) of the Dermapen device, microscopic channels are opened on the skin surface. In this way, the healing mechanisms of the skin are triggered. Microscopic channels are opened by carefully applying specially prepared special extremely thin needles to the skin. Dermaroller or Dermastamp is a pen-shaped apparatus. There are 192 needles of different sizes arranged in parallel on a cylindrical drum. The length of 12-36 pins produced from materials such as titanium and steel can vary between 0.5-2.5 mm. Which length is used in needling is determined by the purpose of the treatment and the need of the skin. While micro-channels are opening in the skin with dermatherapy, products are applied to the skin at the same time to increase the effect.
What is the Difference Between Dermatherapy Method and Other Applications?
With dermatherapy, it is aimed to renew the visible surface of the skin by stimulating it. The difference of dermatherapy from other methods is that it can offer the effect of mesotherapy applications that support the skin from the inside at the same time. After the needle size and stroke intensity are selected, the products to be given to the skin are created according to the needs of the person, and the protocol is completed and the prepared products are fed to the skin. Products such as vitamins, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants applied externally to the skin provide limited success due to the strong skin barrier. Growth factors, herbal extracts, vitamins and serums that reach from the small channels opened with dermatherapy to the lower layers of the skin to increase the success of the application and the permanence of the results.

The areas of use where successful results can be obtained are as follows: -It helps to remove mild, moderate and deep acne scars. -Stains formed for various reasons can be eliminated or their appearance can be significantly reduced. -It is effective in reducing deep and light wrinkles. -In skin with large pores, the pore diameter can be reduced. -It contributes to alleviating the appearance of cracks. -It can help reduce hair loss. -It is used in the treatment of scars after burns. -It can be preferred in order to increase the penetration of mesotherapy formulas and solutions under the skin. -It is widely used to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
How Many Sessions of Dermatherapy Are needed?
Micro channels opened during the dermatherapy process; Thanks to the elasticity of the skin, it usually closes within 15-30 minutes. It may take several hours for the channel to completely close. Depending on the needle length worked, the sessions may be weekly in short-depth applications, while the sessions are repeated at intervals of 3-4 weeks in treatments using long-depth needles. It is recommended to apply 3 sessions for non-problematic skins only for care and renewal, 6 sessions for stains, 8 or more sessions for acne, scars and burn scars. Although the number of sessions is not standard, it is determined individually for each patient, completely for the problem of the skin.
