HOW IS DERMAPEN APPLIED?
Before the application, the area will be anesthetized by applying the anesthetic cream. After the skin is anesthetized, an active serum is applied to the skin. (For example, salicylic acid for acne or vitamin C to regulate skin tone)
Disposable sterile needle cartridges that are opened specifically for the patient are attached to the Dermapen device. Before starting the process, the depth of the needle holes is adjusted on the device. In this way, it is possible to determine how deep to go under the skin in the area to be treated.
During the application, different depths are used depending on the skin type and the treated area. Going deeper than necessary does not help. Therefore, it is necessary to perform the treatment at the ideal skin depth.
